 মাহফিলে সংঘর্ষ এরাতে পুলিশ

সংঘর্ঘ এরাতে মাহফিল বন্ধ করলেন প্রশাসন। মামুনুল হক হুজুরের মাহফিলে সংঘর্ষ হবার অশঙ্কায় সুনামগঞ্জ এর মাহফিল বন্ধ রাখতে আদেশ দিয়েছে সুনাম গঞ্জ প্রশাসন। তবে পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক হলে মাহফিল করতে দেয়া হবে বলে জানিয়েছে প্রশাসন। 

বাংলাদেশের সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার শাল্লা উপজেলায় হিন্দু বাড়িঘরে হামলার জের ধরে উত্তেজনার মধ্যেই জেলার জামালগঞ্জ উপজেলায় হেফাজত নেতা মামুনুল হকের একটি ওয়াজ মাহফিল আটকে দিয়েছে প্রশাসন। জেলার জামালগঞ্জ উপজেলায় ইসলামি মহাসম্মেলনের নামে ওয়াজ মাহফিলের আয়োজন করেছিলো সেখানকার একটি মাদ্রাসা। কাল রোববার সকাল থেকে এ মাহফিল শুরুর কথা ছিলো, যাতে অতিথির তালিকায় ছিলো হেফাজত ইসলামের নেতা হিসেবে সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে আলোচনায় আসা মামুনুল হকের নাম। গত বুধবার ওই জেলার শাল্লা উপজেলায় হিন্দু বাড়িঘরে হামলার জের ধরে উত্তেজনার মধ্যেই মি. হকের জামালগঞ্জে আসা নিয়ে উত্তেজনাকর পরিস্থিতি তৈরি হলে প্রশাসনের হস্তক্ষেপে আজ মাহফিল স্থগিত ঘোষণা করেন আয়োজকরা। স্থানীয় সাংবাদিক আকবর হোসেন অবশ্য বলছেন, পরিস্থিতি সামাল দিতে দু পক্ষকে নিয়েই বৈঠকে বসেছিলো স্থানীয় প্রশাসন। 

"মাহফিল আয়োজকরা ব্যাপক প্রচার চালাচ্ছিলেন। ওদিকে আওয়ামী লীগ ও সমমনা সংগঠনগুলো দফায় দফায় মিছিল করেছে। পরে প্রশাসন দু'পক্ষকে নিয়ে বৈঠকে বসে। বৈঠকের এক পর্যায়ে মাহফিল স্থগিত করার কথা জানায় আয়োজকরা" তবে মাহফিলের আয়োজকদের একজন মাওলানা কাওসার আহমেদ বিবিসি বাংলাকে বলছেন প্রশাসনের অনুরোধে তারা আপাতত তাদের কর্মসূচি স্থগিত করলেও ছাব্বিশে মার্চের পর তারা মামুনুল হককে নিয়েই মাহফিলের আয়োজন করবেন। 

“ওসি, এসপি ও এমপি অনুরোধ করেছেন যে ২৬শে মার্চের আগে না করতে। আমরা সেটি মেনে নিয়েছি। আমরা ২৬শে মার্চের পরেই মামুনুল হককে নিয়েই আয়োজন করবো। তার তো সংশ্লিষ্টতা নেই শাল্লার ঘটনায়। যারা জড়িত তাদের তো ধরেছে পুলিশ”। যদিও উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি হাজী মোহাম্মদ আলী বলছেন, শাল্লার ঘটনার পর মামুনুল হকের উপস্থিতি তারা মেনে নেবেন না। “কেউ তাদের অনুমতি দেয়নি। আমরাও জানিনা। হুজুররা নিজেরাই তারিখ করছে। উনি আগে বলেছে বঙ্গবন্ধুর ভাস্কর্য নদীতে ফেলবে। শাল্লায় একটা দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে। উনি যেন এখানে না আসে। আরেকটা উত্তেজনা যেন সৃষ্টি না করে”। ওদিকে মামুনুল হকের সাথে বিএনপি নেতৃত্বাধীন চার দলীয় জোটের সাবেক একজন সংসদ সদস্যকেও অতিথি করে মাহফিলের প্রচার পোস্টারে আওয়ামী লীগের কয়েকজন নেতার নাম ব্যবহার নিয়েও ব্যাপক উত্তেজনা তৈরি হয়। ওই দুই নেতা এ ঘটনায় থানায় অভিযোগ করেছেন। অন্যদিকে আয়োজকরাও মাহফিলের আয়োজন নিয়ে মরিয়া হয়ে ওঠায় প্রশাসন থেকে এটি বন্ধ করার অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা বিশ্বজিত দেব। বিশ্বজিত দেব বলছেন, ছাব্বিশে মার্চের পর মামুনুল হককে নিয়ে আবার কোনো কর্মসূচি আয়োজনের চেষ্টা লবিবেচনা করেই সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন তারা।
