রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২০২০-২১ সেশনের স্নাতক (সম্মান) প্রথম বর্ষের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ১৪ জুন শুরু হবে। সোমবার (১ মার্চ) সকালে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক এম. আবদুস সোবহানের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত ভর্তি পরীক্ষা সংক্রান্ত কমিটির সভায় এ সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়।

সভায় উপস্থিত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কলা অনুষদের ডিন অধ্যাপক ড. ফজলুল হক এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেন।

তিনি বলেন, আগামী ১৪ জুন ‘সি' ইউনিটের পরীক্ষা দিয়ে ভর্তি পরীক্ষা শুরু হবে। এরপর ১৫ জুন ‘এ' ইউনিট এবং সর্বশেষ ১৬ জুন ‘বি' ইউনিটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হবে। প্রতিটি পরীক্ষা তিনটি শিফটে হবে। তিন দিনেই ভর্তি পরীক্ষা শেষ হবে। 

এর আগে, ভর্তি পরীক্ষার বিষয়ে জনসংযোগ প্রশাসক অধ্যাপক আজিজুর রহমান জানান, পয়লা মার্চ থেকে ভর্তির প্রাথমিক আবেদন শুরু হয়ে ১৮ মার্চ পর্যন্ত চলবে। এরপর চূড়ান্ত আবেদন ২৩ মার্চে শুরু হয়ে ৩১ মার্চ শেষ হবে। এতে প্রতি ইউনিটে ৪৫ হাজার ভর্তিচ্ছুর পরীক্ষার সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়। আগে লিখিত পদ্ধতিতে পরীক্ষা নেয়া হলেও এ বছর শুধু বহুনির্বাচনী প্রশ্ন পদ্ধতিতে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

তিনি বলেন, এবার ৮০টি এমসিকিউ প্রশ্নে ১ ঘণ্টায় ১০০ নম্বরের পরীক্ষা হবে। ৫টি ভুলের জন্য ১ নম্বর কাটা যাবে। তবে, দ্বিতীয়বার ভর্তির সুযোগ থাকছে না। এবার প্রাথমিক আবেদন ফি নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ৫৫ টাকা এবং চূড়ান্ত আবেদন ফি ১১শত টাকা।

এবার ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় মোট ৪ হাজার ১৯১ টি আসন রয়েছে। এরমধ্যে ‘এ' (কলা, আইন, সমাজ বিজ্ঞান, চারুকলা অনুষদ ও শিক্ষা গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট) ইউনিটে আসন রয়েছে ২ হাজার ১৯ টি, ‘বি' (ব্যবসায় শিক্ষা অনুষদ ও ব্যবসায় প্রশাসন ইনস্টিটিউট) ইউনিটে ৫৬০ টি এবং ‘সি' (কৃষি ও বিজ্ঞান অনুষদ) ইউনিটে ১ হাজার ৬১২ টি।

He said that the admission test will start on June 14 with the examination of the 'C' unit. Then on 15th June ‘A’ unit and last 16th June ‘B’ unit admission test will be taken. Each test will be in three shifts. The admission test will end in three days.

Earlier, Public Relations Administrator Prof Azizur Rahman said that the initial application for admission would start from March 1 and would continue till March 16. The final application will start on March 23 and end on March 31. In this, 45 thousand admissions were given in each unit. Although the examination was conducted in the written system earlier, this year only the examination will be held in the multiple-choice question system.

He said, this time there will be 100 marks in 1 hour in 60 MCQ questions. 1 number can be deducted for 5 mistakes. However, there is no chance of a second admission. This time the initial application fee has been fixed at Tk 55 and the final application fee at Tk 1100.

This time there are a total of 4,191 seats on the admission test. There are 2,019 seats in 'A' (Faculty of Arts, Law, Social Sciences, Faculty of Fine Arts and Educational Research Institute), 560 in 'B' (Faculty of Business Education and Institute of Business Administration), and 560 in 'C' (Agriculture and Science).
