সুখী দেশের তালিকায় এ বছর ৬ ধাপ উন্নতি হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের। ১০৭তম অবস্থান থেকে উঠে এবার বাংলাদেশ আছে ১০১ নম্বরে। তবে মানুষ তার ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে কতোটা সুখী সেটার গড় মূল্যায়ণে বাংলাদেশ তার প্রাপ্ত স্কোর অনুযায়ী তালিকার ৬৮ নম্বরে স্থান পেয়েছে। যা ২০১৭-২০১৯ সালের স্কোরের চাইতে ৯ ধাপ আগে। এ খবর দিয়েছে বিবিসি। খবরে বলা হয়েছে, বরাবরের মতোই তালিকায় প্রথমে রয়েছে ফিনল্যান্ড। গত চার বছর ধরে দেশটি বিশ্বের সবথেকে সুখী দেশ হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি পেয়ে আসছে।

 জাতিসংঘের সৌজন্যে ওয়ার্ল্ড হ্যাপিনেস রিপোর্ট নামের এই বার্ষিক প্রতিবেদনে ১৪৯টি দেশের মধ্যে জরিপ চালানো হয়েছে। এতে ফিনল্যান্ডের পরেই আছে ডেনমার্ক। এরপরই আছে সুইজারল্যান্ড, আইসল্যান্ড ও নেদারল্যান্ডস। আগের অবস্থান থেকে চার ধাপ পিছিয়েছে বৃটেন। আগে দেশটির অবস্থান ছিল ১৩তে। তবে এবার সেখান থেকে পিছিয়ে এসে ১৭তে দাঁড়িয়েছে।
